Facebook Surveys
Facebook Surveys help surveying and getting opinions, inputs and feedback from Facebook users. Facebook has become the number one social media network in a short span of time with 500 million users. Hence researchers, universities, government agencies and businesses are leveraging Facebook as one of the major sources for survey respondents. Surveys designed, created and deployed using LeadPro Online Surveys Builder tool can be linked on Facebook pages.
Creating a Collector for Facebook
Once the survey is created with Survey Builder, create a separate response data collector for deploying it on Facebook. Any Website URL link can be linked on the Facebook; however creating a separate collector and embedding the link helps easy tracking. Use the survey URL and create a link along with a brief note for the respondents on your Facebook wall. Make sure that the survey will open up in the a browser window.
Using Facebook Page for Businesses and Brands
If you have a separate Facebook page for your business / brand, provide the survey link on the wall of the respective business page. Fans of your page can be requested to respond to the survey. If you are leveraging Facebook Advertising, you can drive traffic from precise demographic users to the survey link.
Using Static FBML App as Tab on Facebook Page
In addition to the posting of survey link on the wall page, a separate Tab can be setup on the Facebook page using Static FBML app feature. The page can be customized with required contents (such as text, video, audio, and images) and link to the survey published via LeadPro 24|7 Surveys Builder software tool. Please refer to the post on using Static FBML Application and Deploying the Survey Link on the tab.
Future Update
In the next version, Survey Builder will include a dedicated Facebook Response Data Collector. Once this feature is available, you need not use the regular Website URL collector. Also, the survey link will be posted automatically to the Facebook profile / business page wall by the system.
