How to Use Survey Results for Blogging and Lead Generation

by Paddu on March 20th, 2010

Well designed survey results can serve as great input sources for generating blog ideas and posts. Blogging is an essential tool for increasing lead generation yield for businesses of all sizes. Right from one person internet marketers to large corporation, blogging is unavoidable in this social media influenced business world.

Responses collected from a web based survey research tool such as LeadPro247 could be leveraged to gather ideas and develop blog posts. The surveys could be customer surveys, website visitor surveys or prospect surveys. Large surveys could be split into multiple parts and created as multiple posts. However, each post should be developed as a standalone, short (about 600 words) and meaningful post. It could refer to other posts but not depend on the contents from others. You may also develop an anchor post and provide a summary of all related posts which can direct the readers to a detailed post.

Each post can include a chart or graphics based the survey results. This will increase reading time considerably. The summary results can also be tabulated in the blog post for a quick view.

Exercise caution while sending out surveys frequently. Blog posting requirements should never drive the survey strategy. Surveys should be resorted to for a specific purpose in a suitable frequency.
